Abstract
587,261. Spoons. JACOB, L. Dec. 8, 1944, No. 24678. [Class 128] [Also in Group XX] A spoon embodies means (e.g., a mercury thermometer or a bimetallic heat-sensitive element) for indicating when a substance in which the spoon is immersed has reached a predetermined temperature. In the embodiment illustrated, the bi-metallic spiral 16 is anchored at 17, its outer end moving the metal slide 20 in the bore 8, so that a widened portion of the slide is brought between 'two. lines 23 on the window 14 at the predetermined temperature.
