585,943. Scribers. OSBORN, L. J. Oct. 4, 1945, No. 25894. [Class 61 (ii)] A wood-worker's scriber comprises a base-plate A with a pair of uprights B at the rear supporting a bearing C through which the rear end of the pencil D passes and a slotted segment H at the front of the plate for an adjustable bearing which supports the front end of the pencil, the latter bearing being clamped anywhere along the slot by a nut J and the pencil clamped therein by a screw F.
