582,239. Ink-ribbon mechanism. CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO., Ltd., and BOWMAN, A. April 25, 1945, No. 10402. [Class 100 (iv)] An inking device for use in a ticket printing and issuing machine has an inked ribbon stretched in two separate plies over a metal frame which is of the same construction at each end. In the device shown, which is a modification of that described in Specification 543,798, the frame consists of a rectangular wire 2 bent as at 4 perpendicular to its own plane and the two plies 1 are stitched together adjacent to each end of the frame.
