Abstract

580,789. Clothes horses. GRAVITY LADDERS, Ltd., and BACH, C. H. July 26, 1944, No. 14242. [Class 52 (v)] A portable clothes-airer comprises a rectangular frame built up from vertical cylindrical metal tubes or rods 1 to which horizontal rectangular metal tubes 2 are pivoted' such that each vertical tube or rod 1 is common to two adjacent frames except at the ends of the assembly as shown. Sleeves 6 secured by screws 7 on the tubes &c. 1 and located within the ends of the tubes 2, serve to position the tubes 2. Wing extensions 3 are attached to the two outermost vertical tubes. Closures 4, 5 are provided for the ends of the tubes 2, 1 respectively.
