[Class 64 (iii)] In a gas fire of the kind in which the gas is burnt between a back brick and a perforated fret, the products of combustion, undiluted with air, are passed through a heat-exchanger through which convection air passes. The heatexchanger has alternating compartments through some of which air from a passage l passes into the room, while through others the undiluted products of combustion pass from the combustion chamber a to the chimney.
