Abstract

576,519. Crushing-mills. BARRON & SON, Ltd., W. S., ROWLES, A. H., and KATZ, A. Oct. 4, 1944, No. 18989. [Class 59] In a crushing-mill, the crushing chamber of which is partly or wholly enclosed by sieves, the sieves are divided in an axial direction into parts, the outer ends of which project at both sides of the crusher, whereby they may be readily replaced; the sieves may also be divided transversely. The sieve parts 6, 7 project at 8, 9 and are guided in slots in members 13 at the ends of the chamber. The sieves may also be divided transversely of the axis, intermediate guiding members, supported by gapped ribs 15, being provided.
