Abstract

Electrical capacitors and resistors are made from a composition having a low coefficient of thermal expansion consisting of a metal having a high electrical conductivity and carbon. Suitable proportions are 80-90 per cent of coal and 20-10 per cent of copper. These are finely ground, mixed, pressed and baked. The article is preferably coated with a metal such as silver or copper. Specification 559,627, [Group XXXVI], is referred to.
