[Class 38 (i)] [Also in Group XI] The globe 2 of an electric light fitting communicates with the atmosphere only through a perforated casing 7 containing filtering material and connected to the conduit 4 containing conductors supplying the lamp or to a junction box 5 or T-piece on the conduit, the entrance of dust into the globe being thereby prevented. The perforated portion of the casing 7 maybe formed bya removable lid 10.
