[Class 135] A valve member is composed of a cluster of strips 1, some or all of which are made of thermostatic bimetal, the arrangement being such that the bimetal members may close progressively on one another or on the other strips. The strips may be joined at the roots to form a base ring which may be inserted in a tube 3, or the valve may be formed from a blank or blanks of bimetal.
