571,359. Check valves. TRICO PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Oct. 20, 1943, No. 17283. Convention date, Jan. 2. [Class 135] A check valve comprises a ported seating plate 5 and a closure member consisting of a resilient (e.g. rubber) disc 9 provided with a stem 10 by which the disc is anchored to the plate, the stem having a reduced neck 11 which engages in an aperture in the plate. Projections 14 on the disc limit the flexing inovement thereof. The aperture in the plate in which the neck 11 engages is of non-circular shape and is of smaller area than the neck so that the stem is firmly gripped after it has been drawn through the aperture.
