568,408. Dynamo-electric machines. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Oct. 23, 1942, No. 14919. Convention date, Oct. 25, 1941. [Class 35] In dynamo-electric machines in which the stator core 12 is resiliently suspended in an outer casing 20 as described in Specification 540,199, transmission of vibration to the foundation is minimized by supporting the casing at the longitudinally spaced ends only. For this purpose shims 31 are secured between the foundation and longitudinally extending feet 32 on the casing. The details of the machine are described in Specification 540,199.
