Abstract
567,307. Valves. WOODALL-DUCKHAM (1920), Ltd., and COWLEY, A. R. Aug. 4, 1943, No. 12558. [Class 135] A gas duct is provided with an enlargement 6 and a wall 8 extending towards it, so that the flow may be regulated or stopped by the introduction or removal of pulverulent material through closable openings 9, 7. Closable cleaning openings 10 are also provided. In a modified form, the wall 8 is hollow and -open at the bottom, the material being charged through the wall.
