564,881. Stays for hinged articles. WORCESTER WINDSHIELDS & CASEMENTS, Ltd., and JONES, A. E. E. July 28, 1943, No. 12268. [Class 65 (i)] A windscreen &c. 1 is pressed on to its seat 6 by making the guide pin 24 on the stay 7 adjustable transversely of the guide slot 18 carried by the screen. This may be done by providing the pin with an angularly adjustable eccentric 21 engaging the slot, or by making the pin adjustable in a transverse slot in the lower end of 7. The screen is locked in adjusted position by a wing nut 13 engaging recesses 14 in a quadrant slot 11, and the pivot 8 of the stay may have a conical bearing therein.
