563,733. Supporting lamps. REVO ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., and REEVES, F. H. March 24, 1943, No. 4753. [Class 75 (iii)] A series of fluorescent tubular lamp reflector casings a are suspended from brackets d, e, adjustably clamped on parallel tubular conduits g which are slidably mounted in clamping bars h carried by tubular rods k depending from fixed points on the ceiling or other support. The conduits g are provided at intervals with junction boxes m from which flexible leads from the current source are led to the lamps. The brackets d, e comprise upper and lower members connected by screws f, the lower members carrying pins c to receive hook members b on the casings a either by a longitudinal lifting movement of the casing as in Figs. 1 and 3, or by a lateral lifting movement as in Fig. 5. The rods k may be replaced by chains, and chains may also be used for suspending the reflector casings. Specification 563,224 is referred to.
