[Class 64 (iii)] A wall of the oil passages of an oil cooler has ribs 6 extending on one side of the wall into the oil and on the other side into the cooling medium, and the surface of the wall between the ribs and exposed to the oil has a heatinsulating covering 9 to prevent the formation of a layer of congealed oil when the wall is cooled.
