561,805. Pile fabrics. BOOTHROYD RUGS, Ltd., and BOOTHROYD, J. I. Oct. 26, 1942, No. 14976. [Class 142 (iv)] A pile fabric for use as a mattress, overlay, as upholstery, or for linings for aircraft, &c., is woven double or face to face on a double shuttle, double plush loom. Each pile thread 5 ... 8 passes over one pick, under two picks and over one pick in one ground cloth and then under one pick, over two picks and under one pick in the other ground cloth, and repeats this sequence in regular order. The pile threads are made of resilient fibre such as mohair, cross bred wool or artificial fibre, and the arrangement of the pile threads is such that air spaces are formed. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 9768/96. [Class 142].
