560,685. Dough-rolling and sheeting machines. VICARS, Ltd., T. & T., CROSLAND, E. M., and NAYLOR, J. F. Nov. 4, 1942, No. 15524. [Class 87 (ii)] A combined dough sheeting and sheet gauging machine comprises three rolls 1, 2, 3, mounted on parallel axes to enclose a cylindricallysided compression space, the roll 3 being mounted in a frame 12 pivoted on the axis a of the roll 1. The frame 12 can be pivoted counterclockwise until the axis c of the roll 3 is disposed below the axis a, whereupon a feeding table 10 can be advanced to the right to support dough fed to the gauging rolls 1, 2. Either roll 1 or roll 2 may be mounted in eccentric bearings, to vary the gauging gap. Specification 341,686 is referred to.
