Abstract

Springs m, n are provided to retain the cage k in central position and prevent its displacement during disengagement of the guides h, i. A plug e is provided, to permit evacuation of the bellows, which is then sealed at g, or, if desired to be responsive to pressure changes, the aperture g is left open and the plug e threaded for attachment of a pipe. An alternative is described in which the cage k is provided with a toothed pinion engaging both the rod i and sleeve h to maintain it in central position.
