Abstract

544,204. Ventilators. MORRIS, C. V. Jan 7, 1941, No. 215. [Class 137] A light-proof ventilator comprises a plurality of louvre members 4 of angular or arcuate crosssection arranged one above the other the spaces between them, at the highest point of each member, accommodating rods or slats 5 which present little obstruction to the passage of air but prevent the passage of light by reflection on the surfaces of the members. In Fig. 4, the louvre members have long arms 8 which alternate with short arms 9 of adjacent members. The ventilator is shown having a frame 1 with a peripheral flange 2 for securing over a window frame 3.
