541,574. Supporting pipes. WALSALL CONDUITS, Ltd., and MILLARD, A. E. June 29, 1940, No. 11040. [Class 99 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXXVI and XIV] Conduits or cables are held in saddles adjustable in supporting racks. Nut members 10 slide in shallow channels 5 with sides 7 projecting over the flat base. Saddles 15 with side securing pieces 16 are held by screws 14 passing through key-hole slots 18 to tighten the saddles against the nut members 10. The members 10 have grooves 11 and shoulders 12 to give substantially a live contact with the inner side of the flanges 7. Two or more channels may be secured together side by side or may be formed from a single piece by pressing.
