539,203. Control of two motors. IGRANIC ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Feb. 29, 1940, No. 3794. Convention date, March 31, 1939. Drawings to Specification. [Class 38 (iii)] A main driving motor and a small starting motor are mechanically connected by an electromagnetic clutch, so that both motors can be reversed. The usual cross-lead controller in its travel first switches on the small motor with the clutched energized and at about half-travel, switches off the small motor, de-energizes the clutch and switches on the main motor.
