Abstract
537,658. Alloys. KEMET LABORATORIES CO., Inc. Dec. 28, 1939, No. 32927. Convention date, Feb. 17. Drawings to Specification. [Class 82 (i)] One or more elements of a thermionic tube are made of an alloy consisting of nickel with 15-40 per cent. of molybdenum and less than 10 per cent. of iron. The nickel may be wholly or partly replaced by cobalt or by cobalt and iron, or partly by iron, but if iron is present its amount is less than 10 per cent. and preferably not more than 5 per cent. The molybdenum may be partly replaced by tungsten. Small amounts of vanadium, carbon, manganese, silicon, zirconium, and magnesium may be present. Specification 410,268 is referred to.
