536,773. Electric lighting fittings. HIRSCH, E. Nov. 28, 1939, No. 31005. [Class 75 (ii)] An electric lighting fitting comprises a reflector 11, the surface of which slopes upwardly and inwardly from the periphery of an angle of not less than 30 degrees and a decorative shell 14 surrounding the reflector 11 laterally. The reflector may be provided with a cylindrical portion 9 surrounding the conventional lamp holder 2, and a concave spherical portion 10 may be interposed between the portions 9, 11. The reflector 11 and the shell 14 may be opal glass, and the light source may be disposed so that it is not above the upper extremity of the conical surface 11.
