[Class 65 (ii)] In a friction-jointed structure for supporting electric lamps &c. one or each of the jointed members is formed from sheet metal pressings 2, 3 secured together, one within the other, to form a rigid tubular member, Fig. 5, having integral lugs 2c, 3c for the pivotal attachment of one member to another or to a fitting or support. The joint may embody copper &c. washers 10 and spring washers 5.
