[Classes 64 (iii) and 123 (ii)] The flue tube or furnace of a steam boiler or water heater is provided with a number of renewable solid plugs 2 or pegs made of copper or other good conducting material and projecting into both the water and hot gases. The plugs are staggered to provide a circuitous path for the heating gases.
