Abstract

535,545. Pencil holders ICHIMURA, K. April 15, 1940, No. 6794. Convention date, Dec. 23, 1939. [Class 146 (iii)] Propelling - pencils have two lead-tubes 1 carried by push-tubes 2 each provided with an inclined projection 3 engaging helical grooves 9 in a push-rod 10 so that rotation of rod 10 will depress one of the tubes 1. Each tube 1 slides in a tube 7 having an aperture 8 for the lead-holder 5 which is carried by tube 6. Rod 10 is carried by a head 11 mounted in a rotating ring 14 carried by a cap 16 secured to the pencil body 17. The cap 16 has an aperture 18 for the leads.
