[Class 141] A corset for surgical or other wear comprises back, side and front sections of which the back sections are longer than the others, and skirt portions overlapping the side portions. The skirt portions 10 are secured about half-way up the side portions 7 and their outer corners are connected to hose supports 14. The back portions 8 are fitted with laces which can be tightened by buckles 20. and the front portion is fitted with elastic sections 5 the lower edges of which are free from the fabric parts 6 of the front.
