[Class 38 (ii)] In a magnetic core comprising a number of elements 1 formed of compressed magnetic dust and separated by non- magnetic spacers formed by a shell 3, the latter is made of a material of such expansion . coefficient in relation to the temperature - permeability coefficient of the magnetic elements that the complete core has a predetermined temperature-permeability coefficient. Thus the latter may be made zero or even of such negative value as to compensate for the positive temperature coefficient of a condenser with which an inductive winding on the core 'is associated.
