Abstract

526,390. Dyeing-apparatus. ALBERTINI, jun., E., and CALLEBAUT, C. March 15, 1939, No. 8245. [Class 15 (i)] Textile material is dyed in an apparatus comprising a rotary cage or frame which moves it into and out of heated liquid contained in a closed vessel, the pressure in which can be controlled so that the ebullition temperature is maintained. The vessel 10, fitted with a steam heater 12, contains the rotary cage 19 and has a vapour discharge pipe 13 leading to a condenser 15 and suction fan 17, a controlling valve 14 and pressure gauge 18 being provided. In web form the material may be wound on a rotary spider.
