Abstract
522,866. Boots &c. FISCHER, E. Jan. 12, 1939, No. 1063. Convention date, March 9, 1938. [Class 17 (ii)] The forepart 1 of a shoe sole on which the toes and the anterior supporting points of the foot rest, i.e., forward of the curved line 3, is made of soft material, while the part situated behind this is made of hard material. The forepart 1 may comprise a number of layers of soft material of which the upper layer is the softest. The junction between the two parts may be rabbeted or bevelled or the soft sole part may extend rearwardly part way or for the whole length of the part 2 and the two parts may be secured by sewing or cementing. A metal frame may retain the sole in shape.
