[Class 113 (i)] A ship's side ligh has a movable frame with a part-spherica internal surface, this surface contacting with a conical surface ' on the fixed frame. The movable frame 11 has a partspherical surface 2( which is held in contact with the conica surface 2 of the fixed frame 1 by the finger 18, attached to. the screwed rod 16. The movable frame is pivoted at its upper edge to the rod 7 sc that, by the loosening of the nut 8 on this rod, the side light can be completely detached ' from its fixed frame. An annular resilient insert 6 is provided in the conical surface 2 where the latter engages the spherical surface 20.
