516,850. Spring seats. KEEBLE, D. July 27, 1938, No. 22286. [Class 52 (iv)] The upholstery springs A of a spring seat, mattress or the like have their bases or plates F to which they are attached secured to each other and to the supporting frame B by springs C in compression. Various arrangements are described and, as shown, the springs A have secured to their bases links D, E passing through and secured to the remote ends of the supporting springs C so that when the links are pulled apart by the upholstery springs A the springs C are put under compression.
