Abstract

516,334. Plate racks. EMSCOTE FOUNDRY CO., Ltd., and HARVEY, F. July 23, 1938, No. 21905. [Class 28 (ii)] [Also in Group XI] A metal rack a adapted to receive plates in an upright position is provided with runners at the sides to enable it to be supported by the shelf supports of a cooking stove and with feet ,allowing the rack to be stood on a level surface while being loaded. The rack shown comprises an upper rectangular frame 10 provided with cross-bars 14 and runner-bars 15, 16 and a lower frame composed of side bars 18, 19 having their ends bent downwardly and then upwardly to form legs which are welded to the extreme bars 14. The side bars 18, 19 may also be welded to one another where they cross. Crossbars 20 may be provided on the lower frame or the bars 18, 19 may be corrugated.
