[Class 70] [Also in Group VIII] A normally tacky and pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises raw rubber and a low-acid type ester gum, i.e. having an acid number of 2-10. A primer composition for application to a sheet prior to application of the adhesive comprises reclaims or partially-vulcanized raw rubber, whiting and wood rosin. The compositions are worked up with solvents, e.g. heptane.
