Abstract

512,816. Spray-producers. LE CLAIR, C. C. S., and TECALEMIT, Ltd. March 23, 1938, No. 8900. [Class 69 (iii)] Spraying - apparatus of the kind in which liquid is forced by air pressure through a dip tube to an atomizing head comprises a liquid container 1 to which is attached an atomizer comprising a body 9, Fig. 2, provided with an air - passage 29 controlled by a valve 27 and liquid passage 14 connected to the dip tube 13 and controlled by a valve 19. These passages lead to a common passage 17 connected to a valve controlled mixing chamber 7, Fig. 1, connected to an outlet pipe 8. The atomizer is connected to the atomizing head by a member 3 carrying a connecter 4 for a compressed air hose and a pressure gauge 5. The apparatus is stated to be more particularly for spraying oil on leaf springs of motor vehicles.
