509,356. Watch bands. JARVIS, F. April 5, 1938, No. 10400. [Class 43] In a watch band 2 of the kind in which the attaching end is reinforced with a metal plate situated between two layers, a tongue 1a is stamped out of the end of the plate and projects through a slit 3 in the inner layer 2b of the band to prevent the band becoming unhooked from the watch loop 4 when once bent round it. In modified forms, the plate may in addition be provided with other stamped out tongues to engage the band, and with an end flange to engage the forward end of the band.
