[Class 38 (i)] A plug coupling consists of contacts each made by bending a length of half-round rod so as to form a bifurcated plug 3, 4 with an eye 5 to which the lead 7 is soldered at 8. The contacts are then mounted by moulding a rubber body 9 around them, an extension 9a surrounding the lead. The rubber passes through the eye 5 and anchors the plug. The body 9 is formed with an indentation or channel 15 to facilitate a firm grip.
