[Class 20 (iii)] A sealing gasket for rendering fluid-tight closures such as doors, windows, and the like, comprises a number of strips of rubber or like material A<1> . . A<4> of straight-sided wedgeshape section and of equal width, united at their thick ends to a common base which is mounted upon one of the elements B, of the closure member, so that, when the latter is closed, the thin ends of the strips press substantially at right-angles to the face C of the other element to be rendered fluid-tight. The strips may, (as shown), have an integral base-portion A.
