[Class 78 (i)] [Also in Group XXII] A conveyer comprises an oval link chain 10, 11. and platforms 12 secured thereto or formed integral therewith. In the former construction each platform is formed with a slot 13, Fig. 3, in which one side of a link 10 is partially engaged. The slot is filled with metal 14 by a welding or brazing process.
