Abstract

502,249. Wrapping-machines. ROSE, A. G., and ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH), Ltd. Aug. 14, 1937, No. 22370. [Class 94 (i)] In order to enable the mould-wheel of a wrapping-machine to be replaced, e.g., to adapt the machine for wrapping arti cles of a different size, the mould-wheel is separated into equal parts about the lines 4, 5. Each half is adapted to be attached to or detached from a collar 6 keyed on to the main shaft 10, corresponding holes in the collar and wheel parts receiving bolts 15 which are secured by nuts 16. The surfaces 4, 5 may be machined, and the gap filled by packing-pieces.
