502,105. Kneading - machines. HARBER, L. S., and BAKER PERKINS. Ltd. Sept. 11, 1937, No. 24827. [Class 86] A kneading-machine comprises a rotary pan in which an arm is operated in a closed path having an upward component near the axis of the pan, a downward and outward component towards the corner of the pan and an inward, radial component. The pan 1, which is removably mounted on a turntable 2, is prevented from tilting by the engagement of a flange 19 with a roller 18. The kneading arm 17 is connected at one end to a crank-pin 31 and is pivotally mounted on arms 36 pivoted at 37 ; the arms 17 and 36 may be adjustable. The pan is provided with a cover 22 pivoted on a shaft 24 having crank arms 26 engaging limiting stops 27, 28.
