500,668. Lantern slides. NEITHOLD, C., (trading as NEITHOLD, C., [Firm of]). Dec. 21, 1937, Nos. 35350 and 3535]. Convention dates, Dec. 28, 1936 and May 8, 1937. [Class 98 (ii)] A holder for transparent pictures comprises a U-shaped frame of channel section formed from a sheet of metal b with an aperture c, the portions d being bent to channel form. The frame is closed by a further channel section f retained by lugs c bent down upon it. A transparent plate g inserted in the frame has a mask h glued to it by the marginal portion i. The portion k is also glued down. The edge of the transparency l is inserted in the slots separating the portion k from the hinged portion of the mask, and is located thereby. Slots may also be provided in other edges of the aperture in the mask to locate the transparency in other directions. A transparent cover-plate may also be inserted in the frame.
