[Class 8 (ii)] The unenclosed stripping brush A of a carding engine is carried by bearings a in end members connected by a curved side member B which carries a single suction chamber C extending the length of the brush and having a pivotal connection with a suction pipe and a slit c<2> which may be in one part or divided into two longitudinal parts. The brush bearings may be formed in plates adjustably mounted on the end members. Specification 242,389, [Class 8 (ii)], is referred to.
