[Class 97 (i)] Ornamental attachments d are applied to the sides a of spectacles and are wholly or in part secured by the rivets &c. e by which the sides are secured to the hinges c. As shown, two hinge rivets are used for securing the inner end of the attachment, and the outer end is secured by an additional rivet &c. f. Alter. natively only one of the hinge rivets may be utilized, the other terminating beneath the mounting.
