Abstract
494,437. Filters. WINN & CO., Ltd., C., and HINCHLEY, E. R. W. July 9, 1937, No. 19069. [Class 46] A filter for use in pumping systems comprises a body a having two independent filter chambers through either of which fluid can be directed by means of a two-way valve to an outlet n providing a seating for a check valve p. The upper end of each filter chamber is closed by a detachable plug s carrying a gauze filter t. The valve is operated by a handle w which carries a plate x adapted to engage stops y in the extreme positions of the handle. The plate carries indications denoting which chamber is in use.
