Abstract
494,316. Filtering-media. MELITTAWERKE AKT.-GES., and BENTZ, H. W. April 23, 1937, No. 18038/38. Divided out of 494,312. [Class 46] Paper filter bags for use in cup-shaped vessels are formed from blanks, Fig. 1, having a central folding line a, for the bottom of the bag, and further folding lines b, c extending outwardly from the line a, for forming side folds. The lines a, c are pressed in from above, and the lines b, which form extensions of the lines a, may be pressed in from below. The bag formed from the blank shown in Fig. 1 may be used in a vessel having inward projections f on the side wall as shown in Fig. 2. Fig. 7 shows a square blank, which can be folded flat for packing, as shown in Fig. 8. Fig. 10 shows a bag with pleat-like folds. Specifications 416,299 and 494,312 are referred to.
