Abstract

Preparations for supplementing ordinary diet comprise vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and G and mineral salts containing calcium, phosphorus, iron, copper and iodine. The vitamin E is stated to stabilize the other vitamins; it is preferably supplied in the form of wheatgerm oil.ALSO:Preparations for supplementing ordinary diet comprise vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and G and mineral salts containing calcium, phosphorus, iron, copper, and iodine. The vitamin E which is stated to stabilize the other vitamins is preferably supplied in the form of wheat-germ oil. Magnesium, manganese and zinc salts may also be present. Materials suitable for providing vitamin content are orange or citrus powder or ascorbic acid, fish oils. The composition may be added to malt syrup for administration to infants or may be made up into pills &c.
