Abstract

A preparation for treating the hair comprises a mixture of juice or alcoholic extract of onion (or of garlic, leek, shallot or chives) together with a fatty oil and sufficient perfume to counteract the odour of onion. Materials which may be present are olive oil, cod liver oil, coconut oil, spermaceti, stearic acid, triethanolamine, white wax, anhydrous wool fat, yellow soft paraffin, bay rum.
