491,304. Bottle closures. LE GRAND, D. A., and SCOTT, A. B. April 4, 1938, No. 10225. [Class 125 (iii)] A closure and pourer for a bottle or like container A comprises a threaded member B engaging the screwed neck of the bottle, a closure cap H and an inner concentric pourer D having a pouring lip E and a flanged base D<1> friction tight in the member B and supported on an abutment C. The inside surface F of the pourer D is formed or sprayed with synthetic resin or enamel, and washers L, M are provided respectively in the cap H and on the top of the container neck. The cap may be secured to the member B by a screw connection, a bayonet joint or by a tight friction fit.
