Abstract

490,306. Firebars. COLLINS IMPROVED FIREBARS, Ltd., and ROBSON, W. R. March 4, 1937, No. 6505. [Class 51 (i)] Firebars of the kind described in Specification 207,123, [Class 51 (i)], are provided at each longitudinal edge with a continuous strip or bar 5 closing the outer ends of the spaces 3 between the ribs 2 above the points from which the outer edges of the ribs 2 taper downwardly. The inner faces 5a of the strips or bars 5 are inclined downwardly and outwardly and the lower edges of the ribs 2 towards the ends of the firebar are less steeply inclined than the upper parts of the edges.
